Looks like both Jack’s peak cam and New York Peak cam, both in Nevada, have new snow in them. Or I am mistaken!

Not sure if this question has been asked before. Any thoughts of a ArcGis layer of Lat/Lon for the camera locations. Be nice to incorporate to a layer for mapping. At least a dynamic csv with info and lat/lon.

From what I have been told by one of the managers that is in the works.

Just seeing those whom use bearing and distance on cams, and those in ECC whom do the same… Bearings/cardinal direction are NOT always accurate on cams.
Proven by local knowledge and “modified” responses.
Just fyi

@modcamo had seen the same and reached out to my contact.I was thinking it was just an out of calibrated compass on the cam and then was told there is no compass! They do the x axis all by remote terrain association! So some may be off a bit. If you notice one off DM @ALERTWildfire and they will remote in and fix it best they can.

Cams Not Rotating:
Noticed that the Breckenridge Cams are have not been rotating for quite some time. With the lightning that rolled through the Piute and and Breckenridge Ranges yesterday afternoon it would be beneficial if this resource was fully functional.
If anyone knows who to contact to report the issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Webcam 1 unfortunately still not rotating.
Shouldn’t only one out of the pair be rotating and the second is steerable as needed? They both can steer, but by default I thought one is left in a patrol/rotation mode when not focused at an incident.
