Hose lay and a dozer working direct up the right flank.

Also replying to a comment in the IA thread, the Line Fire had hotter temps in the couple days before the start and then a persistent heat wave during the first few days of the incident which allowed it to continue burning actively overnight. Hopefully no other competing incidents in the region and relatively lower temps allows this one to get picked up quickly.

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION - it’s not looking good. The Line Fire started out at the same time with similar topography and nearly burned over Running Springs & Angelus Oaks. I can only hope that they nip the bud on this fire, but I was watching the Little Mountain camera and you can see such a rapid spread of fire into the hills and that’s terrifying to see!
