Sounds like 12 acres across the river, making access from SCU side, that riverbottom area is a mess. Kinda expect the fog to roll in soon.

wonder what the fog will do to fire activity. Will it put the metaphorical lid on the pot and make everything mellow out?

Yeah, everything but the dead wood in the euc groves will snuff out real fast, fog is in Prunedale already so should be soon
