Do you know how I can get ahold of the IAP for the Carmel fire?

The NIFC site hasn’t been updated on the River or Carmel. You’d have to get ahold of the IMT’s drop box to get it which is password protected.

Both fires are on the same IAP and running as a complex

NIFC index has had no updates other than mapping for two days
Most teams stopped putting IAPs on the NIFC FTP site due to privacy concerns

SBC Dozer - 22 enroute from the lake Inc as of 0700.
SBC-Dozer-22 removed from the Carmel and re-assigned again to the MOC Incident.
Due to poor visibility all fixed wing are off fires in BEU and returning to Hollister. Helco still operating.

At Base camp
Fire has jumped across San Clemente area and making a run. Div KK has tankers on order as well as Helos. Not confident they can hold with resources on hand

As of 8/24 7:00 pm update: 6,695 acres; 20% containment; 51 structures destroyed; 12 structures damaged.

At end of August, Carmel Fire stands at 6,905 acres; 98% containment; 73 structures destroyed; 7 structures damaged. All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted.
