Just north of the fire by the fire that ran off the 8 a few years ago. Looks like lots of room to run to the west. Lots of intermix

All I can say is if the fire gets established in Lawson Valley troops going in better have good SA and LCES. Really only one way in and out and the last time the east end of the valley burned was 1970 !!!

I would seriously consider opening the short cut off of wisecarver lane and the Lyons Lawson Truck trail for more ingress and egress points.

There are two very rough alternates out of Lawson Valley. Hilary Dr at the eastern end and Sleepy Hollow to Beaver Hollow to Sloane Canyon on the western end. Hilary may be ok for pickups and suv’s. The Hollows are 4WD to the best of my knowledge. I was a volunteer in Jamul in the 70-80’s.
