Is this a Fed team or unified command with Cal Fire?

Not aware any Fed Team has been assigned. This thread is about State fires, and a CalFire team has been assigned. I imagine the Fed fires are/will be, run by a Fed Team. If there is a need, there will be the appropriate representation in the other’s command structure.

Good point. I do remember the 1970 Laguna fire disabling the sites on Lyons and Tecate peaks. Bad news.

Were they able to box this thing in between Elwood and 180? Bear mtn cam is clear, see the Basin in the distance but it’s been quiet here

It’s looking good on satellite—the obvious heat signature in the center is the Basin, the one at the top is the Pizona. Some lingering heat in the footprint just SW of the Basin.

I live at Elwood and 180. It’s pretty quiet now, you can see the smoke spirals from the Bear Cam, but seems to be looking good so far. the dozer line is pretty clean
