AA requested 4 type 1 tankers including the training ship out of Columbia. Just added request for 4 more closest resources but type 1 preferred.

the firing operation this morning along with the tanker show have greatly reduced the smoke column.
This fire is mostly on FRA (BLM) but under Cal Fire DPA.
Guys if you are looking at the Joaquin Ridge cam… it is not pointed at the fire. Look at the Rocky Butte cam which shows two large headers.

One of the divisions is reporting that the fire has crossed to the East of Mineral Springs road in the north side of the fire. The original dozer line plan is out, but they are holding it somewhat on Juniper Ridge.

AA was just informed that T-131 was diverted by NICC out of state. Being replaced by a type 1 from North ops.

Juniper ridge dozerline/road is under challenging conditions due to multi spots around Sherman peak. One spot is 30-40 acers and resources are strained. Dozers are scouting out contingency lines.
VLAT ordered.
