As if facing a10% wage cut isn’t enough of a kick to the stones, this is still planned to happen.

Let’s just go a head and make a salary compaction issue that much worse😡

Any idea which 8? Hypothetically, I might have just accepted a capt b job. :flushed:

Strictly rumor mill but have heard in the north: Valley View-TGU, Alder-HUU, Devil’s Garden-LMU, and Parlin Fork-MEU

Dunno. Some units have multiple camps whereas others have only one. All about consolidation of resources. Then FF1 crews to supplement. Heard something about the CCC crews are funded and fire line capable. Hopefully they are a long term deal. Good deal to get kids into fire and experience to boot.

Heard McCain Camp in MVU and grumblings about Norco in RRU…

All CDCR owned and operated camps…CalFire won’t lose the funding, they will use it for paid FF hand crews instead.

From what Ive been told FF1 seasonals will take a hit as well. That puts us under minimum wage.

Governer’s plan won’t effect employee making under $15/hr as to not drop them under wage, I’d assume it won’t effect the bottom 2 or 3 FF1 steps.

I am guessing most of these will be for the new Crews Cal Fire is starting up.
