The higher this thing gets the more there is too burn. It’s been quite a few years since that side has burned

Looks like a well established column. What are the odds of extended attack you think?

The wind in the grapevine corridor and the slope amost always run fires there to the top. There is a ridge top road that usually checks them up. Plus, short of an unusual wind, once up on top there’s less funneling, less wind. As far as running a lot of Tejon Ranch… ya’ll realize the ranch goes from I-5 all the way to 58? 200 acres is a drop in the bucket.

Understood, but with a good west wind and light fuels it could move :man_shrugging:t4:

SRA, FRA is SW of the area

9430C from FKU got punched out!

I think it might go further than that…was it not the land that connected to the basin so LA could tap into the rivers on the east side…

Yeah, it stretches a bit east of 58 and also on the west side of I-5. Goes from the rolling foothills on the north side up and over with the main ranch stopping 3-4 miles north of 138 but some acreage south of 138 in LA County. Tejon was talking about villages in both Kern and LA counties a while back.

Affirm… if you have not read Cadillac Desert… it gives the history of the Tejon Ranch… Quite the story.
