Wife’s oldest works there, and they did have children on campus. As of about 14:30, they were still working to evacuate them.
I am sure they do. Most of the TV copters have very long range cameras and shoot from great distances on the fire coverages. They are occasionally let in closer when the tankers are reloading.
911 and 914 are committed elsewhere. Winds look like they’ll be pushing this into the 2016 Clayton burn.
Looks like news choppers are at 5200 and AA140 is at 4k. T85 circling at ~ 2700’. I assume FR24 tracks MSL

Clayton was mostly grass. I wouldn’t expect the burn area to moderate fire behavior.
AA reported running out of targets for fixed wing and releasing some tankers. Forward progress stopped.

Forward progress stopped at 50-60 acres, 50 to 60 structures lost. One civilian burn patient.
