Email says they are transitioning at 1800 today for the Hennessy.
Correct . They’re going to run the complex, which for now consists of 60 fires.

Skunker…love that.
I think I heard last night they were going to let this one go for the night (due to the rural area) and focus primarily on Napa and other things.
I always suggest people take dramamine before they drive up Meyers Grade. A few outbuildings and barns in the area and a winery further inland.

When a fire just burns in the duff under a canopy sometimes it’s said to be “skunking” 
Looking now there is also a little one west of the camera as well, two skunks…

Any ideas on what the acreage is for 11-6? (near Meyers Grade Rd.)
I also haven’t been able to pick up on acreage.
There may not be as many individual wildfires like there were during the June 2008 Siege but seeing this many heat signatures (especially in locations that havent burned in numerous years-- with some having no fire history altogether) is still incredibly alarming. And high temperatures are only expected to continue through to the weekend.
This is very reminiscent of 2018’s summer fire season, if anything.

Just guessing off the Cameras less than 10? Maybe? And as I write this I just got an Evacuation Warning for north of Austin Creek rec area, south of Skaggs Springs, west end of Mill Creek. I’m in Petaluma but surf up there sometimes(my phone must be tracking me! )

Yes, south of Lake Sonoma and evacuation warnigs are in place. Still no formal name, unknown on acreage on my end…
