Just curious, why is a 310 acre fire with one engine and 98% for the last 10 days with a whopping 5.1M spent still showing up on the Natâl Sit. Guessing their still turning in 209s. But 5.1M, thatâs a whopping $16, 500 per acre, some big bucks per acre. Somebody needs to check their #s, that doesnât look good.

Extremely steep and rugged terrain along with the logistical nightmare of being on the big sur coast for one. also every drainage burned super ratty requiring it to have a large air presence for crew safety. other weird things like having 3 different caterers in a few days because of having to go national when it really wasnât needed

Thanks for the info, those #s just raised some eyebrows. Bet the Natâl Caterer lost $ on that one, just from mob costs. But there was nothing else going on.
