GOES IR heat going down since start, column blowing SE with the NW winds.
(removed evac info now with updated info posted below…)
EVAC orders just given. East of Refuge road, North of Charlie Hurt Hwy, East of Mina, South of Zenia Rd, and South End of Perry Ridge.
1830: had a bunch of cross traffic, but IC reporting still holding around 50 acres, mentioned the wind shift that pushed the fire back onto itself and into the valley from the NW. Not much potential past this.
I’m going to bow out of this one for now.
Evacs were warnings not orders
IC reporting fire holding at 50 acres. A lot of the structure threat mitigated. Putting line around the north side of the fire and uphill side.
Per Cal-Fire Facebook update
