Div M came down from Rancheria creek rd tied in to Div A with hoselay, saw line through thick chamise from Engines up top to support hose,
Cal Fire handcrews punching up from hwy 140 in div Alpha mixed with fed and cal fire engines.
Tied in the left flank around 2100. Div M across the head pushing North towards Merced river with Dozer hand crew and hoselay toward Div Whiskey coming up from Bryceberg at the bottom pushing up with Hoselay and Handcrews tied in early this morning.
Small piece that slopped over East of 140 Div Yankee buttoned up last night.
One green Island left off 140 between A/Y and Whiskey just North of the Octagon house without line.
Night helicopters working through the wee hours.

Actually there have been 3 or 4 in the exact same spot in the past 15-20 years, this fire followed the same burn pattern and stopped along the same rock outcrops and ridge line.
