Dozer lines along Div.H/Branch 3/ Road 600/ (Windy gap in the morning) areas of the line have all been compromised by spot fires. Reorganize and get back in with dozers to re-establish lines with engine support.
Anyone have a current map? Iām assuming itās too early to get a QR code for an IAP?
Look in River Continuing at about 24 minutes.
Look for it in the āContinuing Incidents - Riverā thread. I believe it was Groveland1977 who already uploaded it.
AA has been over the incident for an hour and states that the lines are holding with just use of copters. Last slop over was several hours ago with hoselay and dozer line keeping the slop in check. āLooks really goodā he states.
I did a quick trace of the heatspots in Gaia GPS. Shows 13k acres but no idea if thatās accurate.
VIIRs data is from the morning. July13th.
Whenislunch provided the link. I just happened to notice it and passed on the info. Credit where credit is due.
Hello, I found the IAP in the other thread but was wondering if anyone can tell me how to obtain this myself (going forward). The website I used no longer has them posted.
No idea unfortunately, I just check in here until someone posts one
Initial IAPs posted by Type 3 orgs are a bit harder to find. Some may post to FTP if the folks there have rights to do so.
If a Cal fire team gets there you will find them on their Box.Com QR link. Cal fire teams are all type 1. Once you get the QR link url You can save the address if you like to your browser. Heck perhaps today I will create something easy for you all.
Teams 1, 2 and 4 use the https://calfire.box.com/CalFireimt1 (replace 1 with 2 or 4)
The rest have not created a custom url.
For the Feda Once a Type 1/2 team gets there its a little different how they share. Some use passwords on a ms one drive or dropbox or google drive etc.
Wow thanks for all of that info! I had the google docs link for 7/12 and 7/13 and then it didnāt update for today. Hubby is out thereā¦
CF also generally posts their iap to federal ftp site and its on there today
Many Fed teams are using the QR codeās for checkin, IAP, maps and demob. Contact someone you know assigned to the incident and have them send.
Try this - it has two nights of IR overflights at 22:30 (the 12th & 13th) and the first IAP for todayās date July 14th for Team 6.

Cheers
Any words on resources being pulled from this incident to others? Based on the IAPs looks like they are are looking to wrap this one up in next day or 2.
Thanx for the reply
