NEU just punched out a second fire in the area (Applegate x I80). Don’t know yet if its the same, New or unrelated.

I hope I’m wrong, but listening to the chaos on the scanner and looking at the various cameras, this is looking like another 49er fire. Similar terrain, houses everywhere and rapid very rapid fire spread.

AA just advised 40 to 60 foot flame lengths at the head. Making a hard push up the canyon.
