Doyle proper is Sra. Everything east is Blm land. Cal fire Dpa. Im sure blm has laid all there seasonals off already so it’ll be a LMU fire.

Looking on the weather radar, it appears to be getting good moisture. Not sure if its reaching the ground or not.

Kcra shows the rain on the west side of doyle. Hopefully it starts dumping. Need a lot of rain to put out that sage brush.

No fire traffic coming out of Lassen County, but Broadcastify has Lassen Sheriff up.

I believe the rain has not made it over the crest all day so far. It’s slammed against the airmass out of the high desert, just west of the fire. The valley there is due for 70mph gusts on the surface along 395 and 80mph gusts on the ridges today. They expect the rain to eventually push through.

Multiple fires around this area, this is the NOD-Laura2 fire that TGU and BTU sent immediate need strike teams to this fire in Doyle proper, located here.

Some S-2’s made it to the Gulch fire near Hwy 49/70, but only an Air Attack ship made it up to the Laura2 fire, and currently no aircraft overhead, all RTB.

NEW FIRE: Approximately 400 acres burning in and near the town of Doyle, CA where some evacuations are being conducted. Pushed by winds gusting up to 60 mph, the fire jumped highway US 395 and is now burning in a NE direction towards the BLM Fort Sage Area and the NV state line.

Mod Note: It appears to me that there is possibly multiple incidents intertwined here. If there is an incident South of I80 in the McCarren Loop area, that is definitely not going to be part of the Doyle, and depending on the jurisdiction, possibly a Great Basin incident. I am going to need some assistance sorting this one out so, please bear with me. If your post gets moved in error, I apologize up front and will be happy to correct it.

Let’s make sure that anything further in this thread is related to the Doyle and if someone can find me information about the potential incident South of I80, we’ll get a thread opened for that.

UPDATE: I think I have moved everything pertaining to the Reno area over to here: Pinehaven. There is still some conjecture as to the correct jurisdiction, so if somebody knows, please let me know.

My son is working the fire east of Alturus said there was 4 different fires an hour ago.

The fires in Modoc county are mostly lined and releasing some resources.

MDF Dozer 4 redirected to the Doyle.
