Op’s Map 8/10/18:
Any updates? This thing goin to bed now?
They just announced Voluntary Evacuations for Trilogy
So it’s marching north towards Corona…
I was in Anaheim over this past weekend and the smoke in that area was pretty much gone. On our way home Sunday evening we could see a header way out to the east in the distance. I’ve been told the lower containment is pretty much due to terrain difficulties/challenges, but they are making progress. Here’s the latest from Inciweb…

spot outside the line - looks like it was a sleeper that finally decided to pop his head out
Update from the CNF a couple hours ago.
Todays #HolyFire flare-up (better referred to by fire personnel as a “slop-over”) burned an estimated 150 acres and is currently 10% contained. Numbers are likely to change as better mapping becomes available.
Personnel has increased to 300 and 10 different aircraft are on scene. Ground resources work to build containment around the Santiago Peak communication equipment. Full containment for the Holy Fire has now been pushed back several weeks.
Back to the Holy!
