Water dropping copter ordered for night operations tonight. 6 air tankers, 5 copters, 10 water tenders.
An additional 12 strike teams of handcrews (24 crews), 2 type 1 engine strike teams (10 engines) + 1 strike team of type 6 engines (5 engines) have been requested for tomorrows operations.
4 additional type 3 engine strike teams (20 engines) requested for tomorrows operations, for a total of 10 type 3 engine strike teams (50 engines).

Found it. RH below 15% over night with 10 MPH wind steady. Wind increases in early morning 0600 onward.

Peak wind gusts for the area tomorrow, the orientation of the terrain favors a pressure gradient out of the east as opposed to north and tomorrow is when E-W gradients & winds should peak.

Flew out of SAN this morning at 1030. Smaller column, totally horizontal, blowing down canyon to NW. Looked like most of the active fire was backing against the wind.
