Vlat ordered
No official update but the Fire still has a bright heat signature.
Per AA
Div C having big push to NW.
Boxing in community w retardant in div d" looking good, backing into community"
Div x wind pushing back onto itself( heel rt flan bat hwy 299)
Column reestablished after collapse.
Q&A Thread open
Div X chewed through retardant. Backing air show to ridge. Believe geographically is Mary mountain
Sounds like the box they wanted to keep this in is now getting widened quite a bit. Fire spreading laterally with good south winds aligned with terrain. Any grasses that catch spreads beyond any containment effort.
Merry Mtn was their plan for the east/right flank, Div X being Merry Mtn down to 299, Div W being Merry Mtn north to Cline Gulch I believe. Div D is French Gulch community and structure protection. I’m hearing AA and Lead mentioning the fire changed attitude and is starting to steer to the left. @KMan, is that up French Gulch Rd Tom Green Mine area can you tell?
