8PJ, which I believe is a Type 2 (Blackhawk from PJ’s) is off Placerville Airport. ETA 1:15 (approx 1910). Correct Type 2 to Type 1–my error.(Credit to Chaparral)

50 acres 0% contained

This would be 804PJ, and he’s going to Gibson. He’s Placerville USFS Type1

OK–I was sure he said 8PJ to Camino when he lifted off. I worked with 8 on the Ferguson, before it was ripped off to R-1.

From AA-503. He has requested 2 LATs if close enough to make it to the fire.

(This was about 30 ago, and only had half an ear while wrangling kids…)

Head of the fire made it to a significant piece of the 2014 Bully fire. Right flank (east side) has heavy retardant on it and it was sort of optimistic sounding. The left flank is wild (and nothing but open land anyway). Concerns about it (it - the fire, not sure if a flank was being referenced) getting established in the Wilson Creek drainage and getting a wind shift I believe I heard.

Airshow is going to shut down about 2000 it sounds like.

I believe Copter 205 mapped it at 170 acres as they came off the fire.
