Yes…as it has an “8” as the second number, that makes it OES.

AA15 and Lead K5 has been scouting out primary mission in Dinkey Creek and currently too smokey for fixed wing. Div. A/D.
Secondary further east is being scouted by Lead, no joy. Both smoked out. Lead landing on hold.
Copters continue to build retardant from last days Fixed Wing work with the Mobile Retardant Base (MRB) near by.

The retardant line in with copter and Tankers was shutdown in Div.a/D about an hour after they made their first runs/drops. No Further use of fixed wing today. Poor visibility.

Any updates on progression ?

I didn’t hear that discussion. I believe that there was minimal spread on Div. A/D because there wasn’t much radio traffic for aircraft. The eastward head was obscured by smoke so AA couldn’t even report conditions.

I am sure an Intel plane will fly it tonight. I never hear those planes like I used to a couple years ago. They might have gone to comms other FM two-way. Wait until posted tomorrow on the FTP site for the feds folder for 2024. Index of /public/incident_specific_data/calif_s

TAK data package posted. Looks like the map tempate has a transparent background turned on so the legend will be hard to read in ATAK depending on what basemap you have turned on.

AA15 had Tanker 132 come out for a drop in Div.D, drop was made however conditions reported was poor visibility again late this morning. No further fixed wing activity up to 13: 30.
4 Copters are down for mechanical issues.

T76 made a single drop in to help the copters out in Whiskey Creek area and was released @14:30. AA just wanted the one drop. Slow air day, so far.

13,979 acres with no change in containment. The east side of the fire must have hit a wet drainage since there has been no growth on that side in days and crews are getting a lot of hand line knocked in there, very good progress is also being made on the west and northwest sides too.
