Picking up. Correction: Winds pushing south!

The meadows lakes fuel break was never fully completed and that the needed brushing never was done. Only the dead trees up to 2017 were cut and removed. Then only the north 1st mile was cleared of bug kill and the southern portion of the fuel break wasn’t touched. Pink Flagging is still up and fading away today. Fire will not be kind to the houses, cabins nor all the radio sites including FSO’s site.

The fuel break was kinda built on the west side of radio lane for a west approaching fire. Cabins and housing is between the fire and the timber reduction corridor.

Cascadel Structure group had the fire slop over the dozer line behind Cascadel. Scouting the dozer line to asses the impact.
Immediate need strike team MMU type 3’s enroute to bolster the resources in the fight.

My reference is to the area west of mathews mill which is about 1,300 acres from jose basin road to the north side of meadow lakes that’s somewhat slicked off since the powerhouse fire thanks to cattle. Calfires fires break down sugarloaf road was tied into that area.

The fire is established on both sides of Saganah Creek on north side of Redinger lake.

Only air work will be 2 type 2 copters into div.B (cascadel).
Lead plane is unable to use fixed wing, smoke obscuring ground for rest of fire.
