Surrounding CAL FIRE Units are sending resources code 3 to the incident for immediate structure defense. Type 3s and dozers so far.
They had 13 Type 3 orders pending for night shift tonight and day shift tomorrow with two Type 2 STâs also. They just added 4 more type 3 ST requests slated as Code 3 Immediate need for Structure Protection.
Mariposa County Sheriffâs Office has issued a evacuation advisory in the area of Yosemite West.
per AAâs report. 100 acres of slop over Ferguson ridge. that side of the fire hasnât made much progress. Fire has already reached Snyder Gulch in the Southfork. This morning that was set as a trigger point for more evacuations. âBuilding up a good head of steamâ in the South Fork.

Fire is now established in Snyderâs Creek drainage and Devils Creek drainage. The fire has burned well to the southeast now.
