They have begun evacuations of Cedar Lodge and Indian Flat Campgrounds. AA has requested all Tankers back to the fire. 4 S2’s, 1 LAT, and 1 VLAT. Also requested the availability of additional LAT’s.

AA is painting Ferguson Ridge with retardant. The goal being to hold the ridge overnight, and pick it up in the morning. There is a fuel break along the top of the ridge that with the addition of retardant they hope will stop the fire.

The “Lodge” is being prepped for structure protection ( I am assuming this is the Cedar Lodge in Incline Village, but it could be the Yosemite Redbud Lodge). It sounds like the fire has crested the ridge above the lodge. Seems like they are scrambling with a lack of resources.
