They had 13 Type 3 orders pending for night shift tonight and day shift tomorrow with two Type 2 ST’s also. They just added 4 more type 3 ST requests slated as Code 3 Immediate need for Structure Protection.
Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office has issued a evacuation advisory in the area of Yosemite West.
per AA’s report. 100 acres of slop over Ferguson ridge. that side of the fire hasn’t made much progress. Fire has already reached Snyder Gulch in the Southfork. This morning that was set as a trigger point for more evacuations. “Building up a good head of steam” in the South Fork.
AA now stating they are going to start “boxing in structures.”
Worried that visibility is going to deteriorate
They are cutting power to Mariposa Pines. AA expects the Fire to crest Snyders Ridge within an hour or so. AA reporting very active fire in Div “Mike” and Div “Tango”.

Fire is now established in Snyder’s Creek drainage and Devils Creek drainage. The fire has burned well to the southeast now.
