Most folks would consider acreage reported from an intel aircraft as confirmed.

I saw the following last night on Watch Duty and question the validity? I don’t believe TCFD has any Incident Management Teams…
The Sierra National Forest Max Fire is currently working with CAL-FIRE’s Fresno King Unit. As of 6 p.m. today, the Tulare County Fire Department Type-3 Incident Management Team will assume command of the fire.

They do and it is a well organized and professional group.
They managed the coffee pot fire last year during the initial days and did a great job supporting the firefighters.

I stand corrected. I spoke to the Safety Officer on the team this morning. The team was approved last year by OES. Guess I need to catch up here lol. Been retired too long.
