H-517 recon both the Rocky and Woods fires. Said he could do some good with bucket work. On his way back to Bald MTN to hook up the bucket. Never heard a size on any fire. By the look of the smoke ground litter for now.

HT-4VG was on seen but the STF cancelled him returning to Columbia???

They are boating the crews to the east end of Spicer Reservoir and then a walk in show to get to both fires.

Acreage has been slowly creeping up everyday. Bet it was chilly up there last night. Helitanker at scene when it was 1/8 of an acre or less and canceled

The Woods Fire is currently holding at 65 acres. Fire crews are working to stop progression of the fire on both the east and west side.

Per woods ops and IC handline is completed around the fire. Crews will begin to secure the line and mop up. No change in acreage or containment. Typical high elevation Stanislaus fire.
