1738 - Fire is within previous Dry Meadows Burn Units and surrounded by black. Air and CalFire Resources are being released. Forest Service crews will bring fire to existing containment lines, expected 20-30 acres.
1705 - Fire is north of Beardsley Lake off of Forest Road 5N02, currently mapped at two acres with moderate rate of spread. Three engines, One water tender, One dozer, One hand crew and one overhead responding.
1652 - Stanislaus National Forest firefighters are responding to reports of a fire north of Beardsley Lake. Once on scene, crews will make an initial size up and request more resources if needed. This is a developing situation and more information will be updated as it becomes available.

Pretty impressive reburn, at least it was a retreat and not bonus acres.
Darby Fire in 2001 we had some north winds that dropped a bunch of needle cast. For weeks after the fire was contained, fire would come out of stump holes and burn the leaf litter and needle cast.
Cam1 now pointing east towards the Cones, on so. Side of canyon. Showing smoke. May be in Strawberry Rx or new?

AA15 lifted off Fresno Airport. Did not catch the incident name. Not sure if it’s this one.

The forest did a lot of burning in that area last month. Just like the one near Dry Meadows area a week or so ago, looks like needle cast and leaf litter took off. They are doing a good job cleaning the forest up. Hope it continues in the Fall.

I would think so. no new fires on NIFC and wildcad. no emails or postseither. I can’t tell which camera you’re looking at or which direction though from your screen shot. last night there were report’s to Tuolumne sheriff’s that the Pinecrest burn hadn’t flared up which is another rx burn they did in the spring. I wasn’t awake and just read a short report of it inour WD slack channel. no follow up was posted either.

Thought that might be a vehicle fire at first with your screen shot .Came up pretty Dark. Now looking at the cam smoke has turned whitish and a little spread to it. One thing about it, I’m sure it got every ones attention.
