It’s Ca-TCU solidly in SRA. Last burned that drainage in the 1992 Moccasin Fire. Ended about 8300 acres if I remember correctly.

Right now doesn’t look like the fuels are there yet. Which is a damn good thing in that location.
Make no mistake it has plenty of room to get up and run.
Was on the Moccasin Fire in August of 92. So we have 44 years of growth. My old BC 4416(Jay Gaskil) said the grade burns about every 60 years on average,

Last couple of days higher RH and cooler temps. This Friday same fire could be a different story. with the higher temp. That area the hottest area temp wise in Tuolumne County.
Per Priest AA calling it 15 acres still holding it within the retardant.

ERCs are still quite low across the Sierra.
The GACC fuels pages now have shortcuts to ERC charts for every RAWs. Pretty handy.

Right now, with VPD in the high 2s to around 3, the atmosphere is still drying the fuels, but it is not pulling on them nearly as hard as a mid 5 and greater.

Very good stop!!! Air and ground did great work. Few spot they will have to cut out with in the retardant lines. Still another couple of hour before the shadows hit. Get some good line cut in and solid mop up and they should be in very good shape. Hetch Hetchy should be breathing a sigh of relief none of they infrastructure was compromised.
