Are you talking about the August 16 to September 16 application opening/deadline go around ? If so, yes. I’m still waiting for a response. I called three weeks after the deadline like the application suggested to do but the women I spoke to said that I wouldn’t get any word until some time this month.
Have you heard back ?

Hey everyone, so i’m currently going through the process… for anyone thats already gone through this, i’m about 3 weeks out from tentative start date but haven’t received much info. does anyone know if I have to reach out to someone or will my supervisor contact me? I have yet to find out if i need to purchase my uniform and what exactly to purchase? Anything will help! Thanks! Btw, any confirmation about the typed out handcrew part? I was on a CCC-Calfire Handcrew and I was excited to hear that these crews will type out because i absolutely miss it! Also, I heard we’re switching to single layer crew boss pants january as well, any confirmation about that?

Any assistance on uniform? Or if theres a formal letter i should look out for that deals with more in depth dates, times, uniform etc?
You will be issued I believe 3 or 5 pairs of the new crew boss pants and you have to purchase the admin pants, roll out is 1/1/2020

Currently PIA has only delivered the “Work” pant and the first of those have been delivered to the Units and Regions with the exception of LNU and CNR Redding. Expecting the first shipment of “Tactical” pants shortly.
Does anybody know if they are still in the process of calling applicants for the August/September fuels crew opening ?

I got a Perm offer in SLO - Paso Robles. I did not get an official start date. I was told the supervisor would contact me.
I was contacted by someone from the CSR regarding my pants size for the new single layer pants.
Where you give a tentative start date? Any info?
Seems as though were in the same boat, very little info. provided with a tentative start date that begins in 3 weeks from now. Perm also.
