My health guru Troy from San Clemente is up in Oregon on the Coleman Creek Fire.

Right on. Sounds like we all are going to end up there this summer if we want to get in the game. :money_with_wings::money_with_wings::money_with_wings:

Anyone hear of more resources being requested?

Con Fire Crew 12 has upwards of 4 crews/buggies staffed per day during peak staffing. Two crews were sent OOC leaving two still available in county either out of Byron fire center or station 12 in Martinez.

VIPR was open earlier this year to add any water handling equipment and change your prices. There may have been a problem with them implementing it but as of Friday viper the new lists are out and it’s up and running.

Correction the dispatch list s are not published, that I could find.

A few dispatch centers have finally updated the DPL’s as of yesterday afternoon. Hopefully the calls will start coming in.

It’s just been nuts this year… all of SOPS tractors sat for 3 months while they sent hundreds of VIPR dozers north. CalFire had limas north too, Now Fennessy just name requested a bunch of county dozers to head north. At least some FED SOPS dozers are finally working on state TCU lands. Just a weird ordering year.

Is it lack of experience? Or has the thought process changed?

I don’t know… Been told it’s all about “closest recourse“ so now a Fed dozer with around 100 yrs fire experience is classed same as uncle Lary’s backhoe service. No shade. Just crazy. And we still get paid to sit at the station.
