Imo, there should be no surprises, no caught off guard & no unexpected going forward. And when the various “alignments” occur - expect dynamic/exponential results. I wish we could educate the public to look at their environment and the potential outcomes this way..

The general lack of marine layer this year and how shallow it has been when it is around is very impactful. Looks like sea surface temperatures are not going to have a chance to up well enough from offshore winds before the subtropical ridge builds in, which should further reinforce the situation with increased sea surface temperatures

No word (that ive been able to source) yet on the fate of the flight crew. Fire looks to be confined to the immediate area of impact and/or the “crash”.
Shocking to me that there appears to be very little debris remaining for such a huge aircraft.
Edit: 1605..
Multiple sources on X and social media sites of the major networks now reporting all 8 flightcrew members believed to have perished in this incident.
