NBC news is reporting the two pilots of the Chinook Helicopter did not survive the crash, this saddens me to hear this news, god speed and prayers to you and your families, rest in peace brothers and thank you for your service.

The NTSB docket is out, with the final report to follow shortly. Unfortunately this crash was caused by an unsecured iPad falling and getting caught in the pedals. There was physically no way for them to remove the iPad while secured and wearing their flight helmets.
