More than 61 agroforestry fires broke out in the last 24 hours in the Greek territory, according to data from the Fire Brigade.

According to the Fire Brigade, 54 of them were treated immediately, at their initial stage, while the fire brigade is facing seven more.

The local investigation offices, as well as Units of the Arson Crimes Directorate (D.A.E.E.) are investigating the causes of the fires.

Finally, the Fire Brigade calls on all citizens to be particularly careful and in case of fire, for their own safety, to strictly follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
