532 has a Helitak Crew assigned to it from 1800-0600. This is in addition to the regular Helitak crew on H-531.

I believe San Diego County Sheriff’s Dept is in the process of getting a new twin engine 412. I would surmise that ship will take the place of Copter 10, 11, or 12 and have the capabilities of a Type 2 that LAC operates for fire suppression & and rescue missions. CAL FIRE San Diego unit has already placed perm FF-PM on this ship. A SDSO pilot Flys the ship with CAL-FIRE FC and crew for rescue missions and fire suppression. This would enhance the already in place cooperation between the County of San Diego and CAL-FIRE.
