Captain got a little upset the day I didn’t recognize signs of heat exhaustion. Fortunately, I had two days of being sick as a dog to get over my pity party and think about how I would handle it the next time. Calling up to Sup, CL and saws that we needed a time out would have been a much better choice, as the Captain knew; heat exhaustion + pity party = a potentially lethal mix.

Everyone needs to thank their fleet mechanics because a lot of equipment wouldn’t be functional if it wasn’t for their work. Our guy is awesome and currently replacing the underbelly of an impala interceptor and bought me a coolee box.
I’m always amazed when I see a truck that looks like the top one in your picture: I always thought they just rolled out of the factory looking like the bottom picture, seems like that’s all you ever see.
When the department says we have to keep it another 2 years which turns into 20 and keep fixes cheap…I am glad I got to borrow the top one.
Huh? Guess it’s lost on me.
You’re not alone on this one. I’m scratching my head on this one also.
Fine. I quit volunteering for this non-profit and this forum. I have requested Mod7 to remove all my posts and then my account.
If i walk up to you and say my brother Jeffery says he knows you, Jeff better be standing next to me because I’m going feel an idiot when you go “um ok”.
