I support the FireGuard team and greater wildfire community as a Collaboration and Technology Facilitator on the Wildfire Facilitator team. While I am a Technology Facilitator I’m also a nationally recognized virtual crisis Collaboration Facilitator specializing in assiting multiple national agencies and organizations work together live in crisis response using virtual collaboration tools. Our Facilitator team provides direct consulting, coaching, advising, and technical expertise to the FireGuard analysis crews and support personnel. We also facilitate engagement with the wildfire community. We provides these services to enhance the capability for the Team to collaborate internally across multiple locations and to enhance their mission effectiveness through facilitated virtual engagement with their customers and the greater wildfire community. I optimize the Team’s use of collaborative tools by researching, introducing, testing, and if accepted, integrating tools into Team workflow. I provide virtual and in-person coaching for all personnel in the art, behaviors and technology of crisis virtual collaboration.
