2020 Effect from new CFAA

I’m curious how the people and departments that were negatively affected by the new CFAA faired during the 2020 fire season. Did anybody take USFS assignments and did you get paid by your departments scale or by some other wage? Or were you only to fill orders for state fires? I wonder if any changes in the agreement are possible or likely.

Some from departments that traditionally sponsor overhead just went to state fires and paid accordingly and appropriately. Some, few, continued to mob to fed fires based on a various range of employment definitions. Some left and became ADs. Interestingly enough, reports are some are moving over to tribal fire departments and are getting hired and mobed using CFAA pay rates.
