Is there a list somewhere that spells out the strike team names?
Thatās a good question. For CF and contract county resources Iāve found it to be pretty straightforward to dissect whose who but as far as LG strike teams/TFs I get totally lost.
Firescope MACS-410-2
If itās Cal Fire it will start with a 9, the next two numbers is the unit identifier (42= MMU) the fourth is the number of strike teams the unit has out starting with zero
For CF starts on page B1 in the MACS-410-2 booklet. The whole State is in there for their designators.
LGs will start with an X followed by op area. For instance XSD would be from San Diego op area. The four digit number that follows denotes the OES region, the zone, the agency and then the number of strike team starting with zero. After that the trike team type is a letter designator. XSD-6430A would be a type 1 strike team.
Remember, LG contract counties will also start with the 9 series like Calfire.
Unless being used in a mutual aide scenario using op are designators like above.
