I think the Black Oak cam is up near the old Cahto Lookout west of Laytonville.

It is. The Eden Valley camera is on Big Signal Peak (SanHedrin) The Ridgewood Grade camera is on Laughlin Peak.
Is the Sanhedrin Lookout still standing? It used to be a significant lookout for both MEU and MNF. There was a large fire, and my aluminum laced brain can’t remember when, that at least threatened it.
I am pretty sure it is still standing. It did survive the fire in 1987. I found a brief history of it.
More cameras for the west side of the Salinas Valley.

Yes, it is still there, just spent a couple weeks at it during the August West Complex. It does have a good pink hue to it now after the LATs got done with it. The fire your thinking of was probably the Mendenhall fire.
It’s tough to find new cams as the list is getting longer, but here are a few more. My aluminum laced brain is having a tough time finding the new ones. I wonder if the camera folks are going to start breaking down the areas into smaller areas?

Agreed. I wish they would list them under that particular CF unit/forest/contract county as it would make finding them better along with fires.

New Camera? ( I believe it is, but don’t want to be wrong.)

Bunchgrass is new, and will be an amazing asset for the far eastern SHU and hopefully can help the Nevada cams triangulate any top smokes coming up in the LMU.
