Another post in LFD Palisade automatically opens a download page. Can anyone identify what causes this and is there a correction on my device to prevent this?

By no means am I a tech guru, but what it appears to me that is issue occurs when someone attempts to attach a file to their post, generally, that is an audio file.
Thats what it is. Just wondering if there is a way to stop my device from automatically trying to open the link.

It looks like the entire thread has been taken off-line
It wasn’t my original post was it?? I started the thread and just added the link of the live news feed
I, personally, encountered the error when I opened your original posting of this incident. I could not see anything other than the text you placed in it. I am not entirely clear what would be triggering that but I do believe, there is some incompatability with your link and the wildfireintel page. No offense intended.
None taken. I never want to be the source of any downloading issues for sure. It was the link to Fox 11 live feed of the fire on FB. Sorry if it caused any issues: grimacing:
I would be interested to see if it had something to do with the facebook link because I had issues when I tried posting a link from facebook live as well…
I do have a question for the Mod/Admin team. When you delete a post that happens to be the leading post for a thread, does it take then entire thread away or was there some other reason the Q&D thread for the CA-LFD-Palisades?? incident removed completely?
I will take the blame for the thread delete.
While investigating which post was the culprit…a gloved hand inadvertently hit the wrong command. I have been unable to resolve the mistake. Apologies.
In past instances I have been able to ID and remove the post causing the auto-download.

No blame sought or warranted. Just trying to understand for my own edification. But, I certainly appreciate the clarification.
