It’s Wednesday, already?! Here’s the update for today, May 11, on the #SanRafaelFire in Santa Cruz County. Containment is up to 17% and remains 11,620 acres. Today, we will reassign some personnel to an Initial Attack group to provide for faster response should a new start occur in the area. #AZFire #AZForestry
The #SanRafaelFire is 100% contained at 11,620 acres, as of Sunday morning, 5/15. The fire remains in patrol status and all resources will be released today. As a reminder the Arizona Trail at Parker Lake to Harshaw Road remains closed until Monday afternoon for additional repair and rehabilitation work, per the The Forest Service - Coronado National Forest. The fire started last Saturday, May 7, within the San Rafael State Natural Area, approximately 22 miles southeast of Patagonia. #AZFire #AZForestry
