No mention of this one in IA thread. So starting here in continuing, as it is now extended attack with Type 1 team taking over.

USFS - Coconino National Forest. Started 06/17/21. Lightning/Natural Cause. 11 miles West of Pine - AZ.

This one just went to T1, with SWA T1, Team 1 taking over today.
(Per IR flight 6/19/21 at 0000 IR Acres: 17114; Growth: 12159 acres.

Here’s info from yesterday eve’s reports:

  • 7000 acres (Previous Acres: 0) - Brush (2 feet).

  • SUPPRESSION strategy (Full Suppression-100% ). Currently 0% contained - anticipating containment 07/15/21.

  • Extreme fire behavior (Wind Driven Runs). Projected Activity: Potential impact to Highway 260 and the communities of Pine and Strawberry.

  • Structures Threatened: None; Damaged: None; Destroyed: None

  • Resources Assigned: 1 (Helicopter-Type 3); 1 (Crew-Type 1); 1 (Crew-Type 2IA); 1 (Engine-Type 6); 5 (Tender-Water (Tactical)); );

    • Critical Resource Needs: Hand crews - aircraft - heavy equipment - engines…

  • Incident Notes: SWA Type 1 - Team 1 will take management of the fire today.

  • Type 3 Team - R. Barella - Initial - Valid as of 6/18/2021-21:20

Morning SWCC sitrep: This now shows as SWCC #1 priority (well actually #2, as IA is always #1).

32757 acres (Previous Acres: 17126)  per IR flight last night. 
SUPPRESSION strategy (100% Full Suppression). Currently 0% contained - anticipating containment 07/15/21.
Extreme fire behavior (Short Crown Runs). Projected Activity: Extreme fire behavior is expected with primary movement to the northeast. Movement to the east and north is expected. Verde river is still threatened.
Structures Threatened: 5400; Damaged: None; Destroyed: None
Resources Assigned: 2 (Helicopter-Type 1); 1 (Helicopter-Type 2); 1 (Helicopter-Type 3); 4 (Crew-Type 1); 4 (Crew-Type 2IA); ); 1 (Engine-Type 1); 2 (Engine-Type 3); 4 (Engine-Type 6); 1 (Masticator); );
