New start…actually a couple hours old now 6 miles north is Flagstaff.
Wasn’t doing too much initially, but Twitter pics show it getting pretty established within last few minutes.
Evans to recreational areas in effect.

Team ordered. Not sure which or type.
1000 acres. THAT is ripping. Sounds like about 10 fixed wing including 2 VLAT and numerous rotary all assigned.
Starting to move thru and out of the Tunnel Fire scar and back into fresh heavy timber. Numerous spots along hwy 89 which is being closed now.
Media reports putting fire over 5K acres now.
Type 1 IMT enroute.
Not a spot forecast, but kinda close.
be safe and hydrate!
That is all.
I know lots of info out there elsewhere - but going to be a bad day when the numbers come in - 3 total fires in the area now - no aircraft available due to conditions. Some of the video of fire activity on these is incredible.
Updated maps for the #PipelineFire and #HaywireFire north of Flagstaff, AZ. https://wildfiretoday.com/2022/06/13/three-fires-spreading-rapidly-northeast-of-flagstaff-az/ https://twitter.com/wildfiretoday/status/1536533162964226048/photo/1
20,000 acres as of this morning - this is a total swag though. Winds never really stopped last night.
They should be able to get some air assets working today though.
PIO map of the #PipelineFire (20,758 acres) and #HaywireFire (4,052 acres). The Pipeline fire is burning into the Kachina Peaks Wilderness, which has little to no burn history and heavy fuel loads. #azwx #FireWX #Flagstaff https://twitter.com/MichaelWX18/status/1537120414299660289/photo/1
Wow, CA IIMT 15 just got there, now they’re being relieved. Maybe re-deployed?
