Nothing started in IA, and now this has gone extended, so putting info here in “continuing”. Type 2 team (SWA Team 5 (Bernal)) is assigned as of Friday. BLM - Gila District Office. Started 06/01/21. Unknown Cause. 12 MILES NORTH EAST OF HAYDEN - AZ.

7903 acres (Previous Acres: 0) - Short Grass (1 foot).
SUPPRESSION strategy (100% Full Suppression). Currently 5% contained. anticipating containment 06/30/21.
Extreme fire behavior (Wind Driven Runs). Projected Activity: Red flag winds will push the fire edge further to the NE with spread rates over 4 miles anticipated. Although strong winds are expected to slow Western spread distances - complex topography and heavy brush fuels will allow for continued spread even against the wind.
Structures Threatened: 1148; Damaged: None; Destroyed: None
Resources Assigned: 2 (Helicopter - Type 2); 1 (Helicopter - Type 3); 2 (Crew - Camp); 6 (Crew - Type 1); 5 (Crew - Type 2IA); ); 1 (Engine - Type 3); 8 (Engine - Type 6); 2 (Masticator); 3 (Tender - Water (Support)); );
    Critical Resource Needs: Four DIVS - Five HEQB - and Five TFLD .

Above post was yesterday afternoon info on SWCC site. Today’s inciweb update puts it at 25,973 ac @ 2% contained. Significant growth Sat/Sat night.

Latest update makes this one bigger than telegraph at 65K plus acres.

your update maybe more accurate than latest InciWeb, which is usually a little behind. There’s is 61.211 ac a few minutes ago. I would go with yours with the heat signature that is showing. I believe it is moving. Pray all are safe.

Burn operations along the 700 road. Great progress being made.
