Spring Fire is in a 3-4 year old scar and the fire’s progress is further into the scar, but IDK how much difference that makes in that veg type. Sat is showing significant heat on NW side.
PHOENIX – The northbound lanes of State Route 87 are closed at Bush Highway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The closure is due to a brush fire at milepost 210.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek an alternate route.
There is no estimated time to reopen the northbound lanes. The southbound lanes are unaffected.
