Here’s a view from Jordan peak 140 miles north.
46,727 acres
Only 14 engines and 2 water tenders on the IAP for the day to start. That’s what happens when your fire gets up and runs for 40k in an op period. With critical resource draw down and the reflex time in ordering whatever is left is going to really keep the incident commanders hands tied on this one. Pray for the safety of those who are out there doing their very best to save life and property.
How long can they hold on the 10+ STENA they requested last night?
Is there an IAP or a link for the Bridge Fire?
Many thanks
Looks like the LAC Type 1s moved from Baldy Village to Wrightwood. Lots of resources from LAC and BDC posted all through Wrightwood and out onto the desert floor. BDC and ANF resources still in Baldy Village though.
Despite the video of fire impacting Mtn High ski area, they posted on X.com that all of the lifts and buildings survived. It will be interesting to see the severity of the burn to the large timber on the mountain.

It will be interesting to see what happens. At Sierra, after the Caldor fire, they had to replace all the haul ropes and comm lines on the lifts because they were heat-damaged. Haul ropes have an inner polyethylene core that is not very heat-tolerant. Sierra also had a big problem with hazard trees, with several trees falling and striking the lifts. They ended up removing over 10 million board feet of lumber from the resort.
Red Flag now extended until Thursday for the fire
Wrightwood area: Winds 4 G to 10, then gust up to 30 tonight, maybe as high as 40 mph.
Southern aspect: (Baldy/GRR) S 8, G 12 increasing to 10-15, G to 20 and a diurnal shift.
Super Scoopers being assigned to the desert portion.
Spot fire at Iron Gate road in Glacier Cabin tract just reported.
Still a long fight ahead.
From ANF, The fire has grown to 49.075 acres 0% contained, The Fire was still active, however, as the behavior moderated significantly due to increase in humidity and a decrease in temperatures.
Just lost Table Mtn cams. They were showing lots of smoke still in an around. Therefore, less cam intel for the Wrightwood area now since all the Mtn High cams were downed.
However, a long time fave site of mine did survive with updates every minute, just no streaming:
