Reported to be burning on the north side of East Fork Road, 5-7 acres with a moderate to rapid rate. 2nd alarm and 4 additional type 1 crews requested.

2:52PM 8/25/2022 VEGETATION FIRE #EastFire East Fork/Glendora Mountain Road in the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument side of the forest in Los Angeles County. Firewatch 51 overhead reporting a total of 55-60 acres. The slop over is 15 acres running to the north west. Aircraft Assisting. Air Attack 12, Lead Bravo9.Air Tankers 72, 107, 911. Helitanker 1HT, 3AC, Copter 532 and 908. LACoFD Copter 16, Helitanker55. Requesting that Highway 39 be shut down at Azusa. Closures will also impact Glendora Ridge Road and Glendora Mountain Road.

ABC7 just showed that the fire slopped over Camp Bonta Prarie Forks Road to the SW
Probably crews from LACO Camp 19, just down the road from where the fire started. Standard on every I/A in that area to ask for crews from Camp 19 since they are so close.
