2 previous years of heavy rain has secondary growth at full maturity. Combined with the this years dry conditions is putting so much of SOCAL in danger. The good news is my buddy the “19th watch out” is doing some cumulus over timus modelling to predict the fires behavior.

Blocking pattern so likely see more inside sliders, the cold air will either lead to more strong offshore wind events or back door cold front that brings lowland snow.

Wind Advisory, northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. For the High Wind Warning, northeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected. Always stay informed these are unprecedented conditions for the area.

Div. Charlie is the priority with a couple spots that are in the vicinity of the detention facility (20 acres) and Sports Complex (“small” per engine crew) are keeping copters very busy. Burning against the wind.
